Realistically no.
Joy comes with peace and kindness and unfortunately there will always be evil deeds that counteract the good ones.
We get so preoccupied with our own beliefs, feelings, problems to care about what our fellow beings might be going through.
We wake up on the wrong side of the bed and take it out on the world. In most cases we have walls up and don’t want joy in our space, we just want to be angry and need everyone to know it.
What we see on television and what music we listen to becomes our excuse not to say surround ourselves with certain group of people.
The hope is that we can all do our parts to make the world a little bit kinder and gentler place, perhaps giving a smile to a stranger or tell someone that they look nice to brighten a day would be a great place to start. The way the world is going now and has been going we have to find some common ground regardless to race, religion, or class we can coexists without giving up ourselves.
We are all in this together and until we realize that we will never experience true joy in all its glory.
"It is possible to live happily in the here and the now. So many conditions of happiness are available - more than enough for you to be happy right now. You don't have to run into the future in order to get more." - Thich Nhat Hanh
